Gibson Tim Shaw Patent Number Humbucker Pickup from 1987 SG ‘62 Reissue

The Tim Shaw Humbucker.  Another of the 4 Horseman of Gibson Pickup Legend.  This 1987 model Tim Shaw Humbucker was specially made for the 80’s vintage Gibson SG ‘62 Reissue. According to SG Wiki, this is an OFFICIAL Tim Shaw, Humbucker. This one was pulled from a 1987 SG and has short legs with a small nut soldered on the bottom to repair a stripped thread.

It‘s wound hot at 9.4K and has beautiful natural aging on the chrome cover.
13 inches of braided lead wire make it great for either position.
